SLJ, Restricted Access- Day 4, Activity 3

I am half and half with this decision. Here are my reasons why-

  • It is sad that the Government has restricted the number of people because it is apart of Peru's history and a lot of people would come to peru to see all the history there.
  • It is also good that the government has decided to cut down on the number of people visiting this site because it has been damaged due to all the people visiting and now they can preserve it for lots more years.

  1. Hi Caitlyn

This is a sacred and ancient site that is very important to the people and the history of Peru. I think it is good that the government if stepping in to help preserve this area so that it is there for many more years to come.
I know a lot of people want to see it, but even if they just have a viewing point rather than being able to walk all over it. This might help with the preservation too.
Would you like to visit here?
I do think this is somewhere that I will have to add to my list of places to see. My list is getting very long.
I wonder how long it takes to get there?

    Awesome work Caitlyn

    Until next time

    1. Hello Allie,

I think I would like to go and visit this cool place, but with the local government restricting the number of tourists visiting this cool site it might be hard to. I just googled how long it takes to get there and it says that it takes 4 days to get there. WOW!

      Caitlyn, :)
