SLJ, Going, going….gone- Week 1, Activity 3, Day 5

In my opinion I lived in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. New Zealand was made up of three islands. Two main, and one smaller one. The north island was home to the capital city and the biggest city in New Zealand, while in the south island it was bursting with bush and nature. New Zealand had some great bush walks like the Abel Tasman and the Heaphy Track. There were also great places to see like the Pancake rocks at Punakaiki Te Papa museum in Wellington.

  1. Hello Caitlyn,
Atarau sounds like a place for me to go for a holiday! It seems like you had a blast playing in the farmland and swim in the waters.

A little community is always better as everyone can relate to eachother, as you had said. I will try my hardest to try and visit Atarau one day and try to bring my family with me. You have made it sound like a paradise.

    Where do you live now?

    1. Hello Gargee,

Thanks for commenting on my work. I still do live in Atarau at the moment, which I am glad because it is a really nice place to live in.

      Thanks again,

      Caitlyn :)

  2. Hi Caitlyn

Atarau is really a lovely part of the West Coast an of New Zealand. It is great that you feel so good about it and wanted to share that with everyone else.
But how about sharing something about the rest of New Zealand that if someone was coming here to visit they would need to know.
Something like - New Zealand is a beautiful place with three islands. The North Island has the bulk of the population along with the capital city, Wellington and the biggest city Auckland. In the South Island you have great scenery like Fiordland and the West Coast. With places to visit like Doubtful Sound and the Hokitika Gorge.

Do you see what I mean? How about you have a go?

    Look forward to reading it!

    Until next time

    Allie :)

  3. Hi Allie,

Yeah I can do that. I will fix up my old post and make it about the whole of New Zealand.

    Thanks, Caitlyn
