SLJ, Salt & Pepper- Day 4, Activity 3

I would build my hotel on the beachfront in Fiji. I would build it out of brick & wood I think.

Here is my design.

WOW! I really like your design! I think it is nice and simple and not too complicated. Next time, (Or in your reply), you could say how many it can sleep and stuff like that.

    Blog ya later:)

    1. It can sleep only 3 people. 2 on the bed and 1 on the fold out couch. Thanks for commenting!

  2. Hi Caitlyn!

My name is Ellee, I work alongside Allie and Rachel on the Summer Learning Journey team!
I hope you have had an amazing Christmas and New Years break so far?
    Been up to anything exciting?

I really like your idea to build a hotel on th beach front in Fiji! That sounds super relaxing and peaceful - I am also a huuuuge fan of the sunny weather so I would be there in a heart beat!
Have you been to Fiji before on holiday?
I am sure if you have you will know the perfect location for your hotel?

I also really like the picture you have drawn, it is very tidy and easy to follow to see the layout of the room. I like that your room also include a kitchen - it can be nice to still have access to cooking tools when you are on holiday!

Do you think your hotel might look a little bit like a traditional Fijian home (Bure)? :

    1. Hello Ellee,

Yes, My family has done lots of fun things so far, we have just spent a few days at lake brunner with friends.

Yes, I have been to Fiji before for my Aunty and Uncles wedding, my sister and I were flower girls there.

Yes, It does look similar to a Bure. I like Bures how they have coconut tree leaves for the roofs.

    2. Hi Caitlyn!

Oh wow I haven't been to Lake Brunner before but it looks beautiful on google! :)
Did you spend lots of time doing water activities?

Oh wow! I haven't been to Fiji before either - I bet that was also beautiful! Very cool that you got to be the flower girl, I have done that once before too and it was lots of fun!

Yes, love the lake, I love to waterski, biscuit and play on the kayaks and paddle board.
Fiji is also soooo nice, but it is really really hot!

    4. Hi Caitlyn!

Oh that's so cool that you do all those things there... I have always wanted to try paddle boarding - Did it take long to learn?
I have also never been waterskiing before, it looks so difficult!
That's really awesome that you know how to do all of those things on the water (very impressive!)

    5. Hello Ellee,

Paddleboarding is actually really easy! You do need a bit of balance though, Water Skiing is kinda hard to learn but once you get up it is really easy.
