Book Review- Elly, My true story of the holocaust

Book Review: Elly, My true story of the Holocaust
Author- Elly Gross

This book was very good. I like to read about world war. It was a bit sad though learning about what the horrible nazis did the the Jews.

This is the information on the back of the book.
When Elly was just 15 years old, she, her mother and brother were deported by cattle car to the Auschwitz II / Birkenau concentration camp. On the day they arrived at Auschwitz, a soldier directed Elly to the right; her mother and brother were sent to the left. She never saw her family alive again. Elly later learned that her father also had been killed in a forced-labor camp.

  1. Hi Caitlyn,
I'm a student that goes to Panmure Bridge School. Wow this book sounds very sad. To find out she grew up lonely was heartbreaking. I found that in your blog post you have a spelling mistake. I think you should read your blog post before publishing just to check for those types of mistakes. But overall this was a great blog post. I wonder what else happens in the book. Good job Caitlyn for this awsome post!. Keep it up.

  2. Hi Marieta,

Thanks for telling me about the spelling mistake, I have fixed it up now.
