  1. Kia ora Caitlyn,

Great work researching these interesting facts about mambo dancing! I like how you have used numbers to list your different facts. Maybe you could find a video link of people doing the mambo so that viewers of you blog will be able to watch what it looks like in action.

I bet mambo dancers would need to do a lot of practice in order to be able to dance in time with their dance partner and to be able to memorise the routine. This reminds me of when I was learning how to drive! I had to memorise the driving steps like turning the ignition on or pulling the hand break down. I had to practice for months and months before I was able to confidently drive on my own. It makes me think of the saying "practice makes perfect".

Have you had to practice over and over before you could get something perfect? I'd enjoy hearing about your experience.

    Keep up the great blogging!

    Noho ora mai,

    Emiely :)

    1. Hi emiely

I am in a after school choir called the Greymouth Youth Choir. I have to memorise the lyrics a lot.

    2. Kia ora Caitlyn,

That is awesome to read. You must be quite a good singer! Do you have a favourite song at the moment?

Thanks for sharing the link. Those kids are incredible! I can see what you mean by "precise dance". Their mambo dance looks very clean and precise indeed! I wonder how old those kids might be? I'm going to guess around 9 or 10. What do you think?

      Noho ora mai,
